In Mexico, Guanajuato expands its presence with exports to new international markets
Guanajuato continues to consolidate its position in the global economy by entering emerging markets such as Guadeloupe, Martinique, Zambia, Madagascar, Georgia, Montenegro, Sri Lanka, Macau and Nigeria.
Although the main export destinations are the United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, China, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Australia, Chile and Japan, there are countries that have shown interest in having suppliers and products manufactured in the state.
Although the volume of shipments is not significant compared to the large orders from the most representative nations, this expansion reflects the company’s ability to diversify and its interest in supplying its products to different regions of the world, thus strengthening its competitiveness in the market.
According to the Coordinadora de Fomento al Comercio Exterior (Cofoce), this progress is part of the results of the strategies implemented to link local producers with emerging markets.
