Guanajuato’s industrial parks have attracted 162 investment projects between 2018 and 2024
Irapuato, Gto., July 29, 2024 – In the progress of the present state administration, the Industrial Parks of the State of Guanajuato have attracted 162 investment projects that represent a capital of more than 9 billion dollars and the generation of more than 64,700,000 direct jobs.
The Governor of the State of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, promotes the development and consolidation of the economic infrastructure for the installation of national and foreign companies.
The head of the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Ramón Alfaro Gómez, explained that there are 6,800 hectares for productive activities in 46 parks distributed in 17 municipalities of Guanajuato.
As a result, the diversification and consolidation of the following sectors continues: automotive-automotive parts, new technologies, plastics, metal-mechanics, services, agri-food, leather-footwear, household appliances, textile-clothing-general industry, construction, ceramics and materials, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
The parks are distributed in the following municipalities: Abasolo, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Doctor Mora, Irapuato, León, Manuel Doblado, Ocampo, Romita, Salamanca, Salvatierra, San José de Iturbide, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel de Allende, Silao, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago and Villagrán.
The State Government’s objective is to generate the conditions for the development of new investment projects through the diversification of the Guanajuato economy by bringing companies to the entire Guanajuato territory.
