Pasubio invests 13 million dollars in Guanajuato
The Italian company Pasubio recently inaugurated its new production plant in the city of Leon, Guanajuato, in the heart of Mexico.
The company’s arrival in town represents a great opportunity for local suppliers, as its «local for local» business model promotes the purchase, production, manufacturing and export of leather from the state.
Guanajuato’s Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villaseñor, emphasized that Pasubio’s arrival strengthens the state’s position as a competitive automotive cluster and highlighted that the company will work with raw materials from Guanajuato.
With this new investment, León consolidates its position as a hub in the automotive supply chain. This plant joins a global network of 12 plants in countries such as Italy, Germany, Serbia and South Africa.
Pasubio is located in the PILBA Industrial Park in León, Guanajuato, with an investment of US$13 million and a commitment to create more than 540 jobs, 50% of which will be filled by women.
