Foreign investment continues to come to Guanajuato
Despite the global uncertainty caused by Trump’s threats to impose tariffs on Mexican products, foreign investment continues to arrive in the state of Guanajuato.

The governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, pointed out that in the last quarter of 2024, investments of two billion dollars arrived in the state, which favored the creation of at least four thousand direct jobs.
She assured that companies of international importance continue to be interested in investing in Guanajuato, as evidenced by the numerous expansion announcements made by companies already established in the state.
«In these first months of -my government-, the attraction of investments continues to strengthen, now a very important company wants to expand its investment here in Guanajuato, so despite the uncertainty of this moment, investments, companies continue to trust in Guanajuato.»
The state of Guanajuato, located in the center of the country in what is known as the «Mexican Bajío», is the engine of the national automotive industry, with car assembly plants for General Motors, Mazda, Honda, Toyota and Hino Motors.
Guanajuato also has a dynamic industrial corridor that runs through 17 medium-size cities with the infrastructure necessary to receive investment from anywhere in the world.
